Client Services Agent
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Scope: To work within the sales team handling inbound and outbound calls to prospective and existing clients.
Purpose: To sell and provide information on the range of insurance products offered by Drakefield Insurance Services Limited.
Key Tasks
- Answer inbound calls in a polite, friendly and professional manner
- Match the insurance needs with the products on offer
- Effectively sell DISL products
- Keep up to date with the products that are offered by DISL
- Keep abreast of the latest travel advice issued by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office
- Complete all training offered by DISL - Successfully pass the product test with a 65% or greater pass rate achieved
- Work effectively as part of the sales team
- Strictly follow the company’s policy on pricing and discounts
Skills & Knowledge
- Building rapport with customers
- Handling customer objections
- Close sales
- Effectively operate the administration system
- Basic working knowledge of MS Word & Excel
- Effectively operate the telephone system
- Successfully undergo and complete any training courses offered by DISL
- Identify the main travel destinations, countries, cities and resorts
- Complaints procedure
- Working knowledge of the Financial Services Authority
Objectives
- All calls to be answered within 3 rings 90% of the time
- Answer all calls that are delivered to your workstation
- Always look to meet the customers needs by providing suitable travel insurance policies - Achieve a 60% conversion rate
- Correctly issue documentation the first time in 90% of cases
- Whilst being polite, minimise the time spent on each call so that you can maximise the calls handled
- If you cannot close a sale, aim to save a quote and capture email addresses
- Demonstrate flexibility in working patterns to meet the needs of the business
- Take notes, questions and queries from the allocated team members for discussion at monthly team meetings.
Commission (after probation)
Is based on how much you sell!
You will be issued with the details of the calculations as soon as this applies
Annual Bonus (Providing you qualify) Depending on:

- A void rate of less than 1%
