Going skiing or snow-boarding? – Get a great deal on travel insurance
It may be spring but conditions on the slopes across Europe are still good, it has been reported.
Writing in the Daily Mail, Peter Hardy said it had been a magical winter and that conditions remain exceptional.
"Lots of fresh snow underfoot and blue skies overhead have created March madness on a scale we haven't seen for years," he commented.
Conditions in France are said to be looking "fabulous", with Chamonix, Tignes and Courchevel all receiving a good dusting of snow over the weekend.
Mr Hardy even went so far as to claim that conditions underfoot were "the stuff of dreams".
Switzerland is also enjoying good levels of snowfall, particularly in Verbier, where 30 centimetres of new snow fell over on Sunday.
Meanwhile, flight search engine Skyscanner revealed last week that Val Thorens in France is one of the best destinations for those hoping to book a late season skiing holiday.
