Renowned Indian cricket player Farokh Engineer is set to bring his skills to La Manga Club this weekend.

Engineer will be running a series of coaching sessions at the resort from April 25th to 27th.

Holidaymakers can pay €20 for a one-hour lesson, with all proceeds being donated to a charity for homeless children in Mumbai.

The player, who has had a cricket career has spanning 15 years, is now an umpire in the Indian Premier League and has played in over 40 test matches for his country.

As well as playing cricket at La Manga Club, guests will also find a range of other sporting facilities on offer.

The resort is home to three championship golf courses and 28 multi-surface tennis courts, as well as a luxury health spa and fitness centre which offers a range of relaxing treatments.
