Destinations in Europe are among the most popular locations for holidays with children during the school breaks, it has been revealed.
According to Holiday Lettings, Spain, France, Italy and the UK are "still" the most in demand destinations for holidaymakers - particularly in the school holidays.
The company noted that the school holidays are also an expensive time to travel, due to the volume of demand.
Other destinations popular for the school breaks include Malta and Croatia.
Croatiasun.com recently reported that Croatia is the leading tourist destination in the Mediterranean.
"It's made great progress over the last ten years, increasing dramatically in the tourism levels here, I think Dubrovnik, as an example, has seen an annual increase of around 40 per cent year-on-year of tourists coming in," Paul Keppler, managing director of Croatiansun.com noted.
