Over half of British couples admit to fighting on holiday, according to a new survey.
A poll by holiday site Trivago.com revealed that 60 per cent of couples fight on holiday, with jealousy cited as the main reason.

Arguments over the weather and food are also commonplace, along with squabbles over "who's in charge of what"; however, it seems that the most acrimonious couples live in France, where 81 per cent spend their holidays fighting.

Swedish couples came out as the "most harmonious" holidaymakers, with just 38 per cent of couples admitting to holiday conflict.

The Associated Press recently reported that 12 per cent of Britons have ended a relationship after a holiday argument.
